Gerrard's tenure with Liverpool featured 710 appearances and nine trophies, and in a recent interview, he revealed, "Certainly, there were foreign clubs expressing interest in me, many of which were managed by Mourinho, such as Inter and Real Madrid, and it happened more than once. Additionally, around the time Schweinsteiger departed from Bayern, discussions about the matter were also held with my agent."
